The Secretary to the Presidential Commission investigating serious fraud and corruption, Lecille de Silva was not removed , but his period was not extended and replaced by H.W.Gunadasa, said Secretary to the President P. B. Abeykoon .
Issuing a communique, the Mr. Abeykoon said that the Presidential Commission investigating serious fraud and corruption was extended to another year, along with the service period of the chairman and other commissioners except Secretary.
Commenting regarding this, Mr. Lecille de Silva said that the Presidential Secretary’s statements are contradicting and that he received a termination of service letter.
