Gnanasara for a Non Problematic Society

The General Secretary of Bodu Bala Sena, Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera was present in Hulfsdorp Magistrate Court yesterday, where he face  a case which was filed by police on complaint lodged by the Bala Sena Organization . In this case he was accused of  entering Nippon  Hotel by force and disturbed Bala Sena  meeting.  He expressed his willingness  to Lawyer Maithree Gunaratne appearing on behalf of the complainant to settle the case amicably. The lawyer said that after discussing with his client, he will tell the position.

In the meantime, Magistrate observed that another Buddhist Monk, Vitharanatha and another person were not present in the court  earlier. Said Buddhist Monk submitted contradicting reports to the Court for his absence. After examining it the Magistrate issued open warrant  against them

This case was postponed to 10th May 2016.

After the Court case, Gnanasara Thera addressing to the press said that he has been attending court over two years and feel sick of it. He wants to champion the cause  for the people in a peaceful manner in future in a non problematic society.

At last, Independence Judiciary made him to change his violent approach to peaceful approach.
