Dhammika Ranatunga’s Threat to a Journalist

Port Authority Chairman, Dhammika Ranatunga,  has gone to the High Court to receive his brother,  Nishantha Ranatunga, who was released on bail  by the High Court of Colombo. When a journalist confronted him with some questions, he was furious. He took photo of the journalist in his  mobile telephone and threatened him in the court complex.

Followed by this,affected journalist made their complaint in  Keselwatta  and High Court Police. On questioning the Kesalwatte Police, they said  that they propose to obtain a statement from Dhaamika Ranatunga shortly. Further they said that they received a complaint earlier regarding threat made to another journalist.
