Large Scale Misappropriation Of Previous Loans – Ravi

There is a vast difference between loans obtained and the money spent on the construction of the Mattala Airport and the Colombo-Katunayake expressway.Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake said.

These  projects and its funding have cast numerous doubts. In the meantime,Minister Lakshman Kiriella said despite rallies held by the so called  joint opposition, wrongdoers will be brought to book at any cost.

Speaking to media in Kandy yesterday the Minister said , action will be taken as the police and judiciary is now independent.
