Namal Udugama is a name that resonates in and around Sinhalese Music as an artist who sang many a memorable tune back in his heyday. Namal was recently diagnosed with an infection in his kidney and was required to do a Kidney transplant. The celebrated singer has now returned to Sri Lanka after a successful surgery and is said to be in a much better state of health.
