The two officers were arrested on February 24 after investigations carried out by the Bribery Commission.
Two customs officers who were in remand custody over the recent incident of soliciting a bribe of Rs 125 million were released on bail today by Colombo Chief Magistrate, Gihan Pilapitiya.
Both were each released on a cash bail of Rs 200,000 and two sureties of Rs 5 million each.
A travel ban was imposed on them and they were ordered to report to the Bribery Commission each Sunday.
