Ranil Spelled Out Economic Development Details to Press

Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremasinghe had a press conference at temple trees. In this press conference,  he said the following:

1. New economic plan for next 3 years will be announced in June 2016, after the return of president from G 7 conference
2. Create a news constitution and a government answerable to Parliament
3. Abolish Executive Presidency
4. Eradicate fraud, bribery and corruption and proceed with massive development plan
5. Devise a fixed economic Development plan.
6. Resolve ethnic problem  in Srilanka before June 2016
7. New law to be enacted to deal with financial frauds.
8. to change the constitution , constitutional assembly has already be in placer.
9. GSP to be restored back as early as possible.
10. New Free trade Zone  agreements will be signed with India and other countries.
11. China agreed for waive off penalty on account of delayed port city project.
12. To grant 1000 acres of land in Hambantota to China to establish Industrial Zone , which will create 10 lakhs job opportunities to our youths.
13. Port city will be converted into a financial hub, generating income.
14. Ownership of Port City will be assigned to a Conglomerate on a 99 year lease and Srilanka will enjoy its share.
15. Port city development will be a part of mega Polis Development. Ranil is hopeful that these development programmes will bring prosperity to Srilankans
