Power outages in Colombo

Several areas in Colombo including Fort, Slave Island, and Colpetty experienced power outages since this afternoon (19), the Ceylon Electricity Board announced.

The Ceylon Electricity Board said that repairs are underway to restore the power soon.

Earlier, the country experienced hours long blackout as a result of an island-wide power failure as well.
