Former Minister of Civil Aviation Before the Presidential Commission

Presidential Commission on bribery and corruption is inquiring into the complaint in connection with  the misuse of state property, frauds and financial irregularities in the Srilankan airlines during his tenure.

Former Minister Priyanga Jeyaratne was asked to appear before the commission today (29th) for an inquiry. Former President Mahinda’s brother in law (Shiranthi’s brother), previous Chairman of Srilankan Airlines, Nishantha Wickremasinghe was also summoned to appear   before the Commission today.

In addition , former Chairman Sarathchandra Fernando, CEO Kabila Chandrasena, Vass Gunawardena, Former Air Hostess Senani Kumaratunga were summoned for today’s inquiry.
