North Central Provincial Council Minister’s Double Game

The SLFP  held  May Day rally and meeting at Galle under the Chairmanship of SLFP leader , President Maithreepala Sirisena.Splinter  group of the SLFP  along with few coalition partners  held their  May Day rally and meeting  at Kirulapone.

While most of the SLFP politicians participated in Galle May Day rally, a few took the risk of attending the May Day meeting held under the leadership of Mahinda Rajapakshe. Those who violated SLFP Central Committee decision that they should attend Galle Rally and meeting  will be subject to disciplinary action.

To circumvent this decision, North Central Provincial Council  Irrigation Minister, H.D.Semasinga adapted  the modus operandi of attending both meetings at Galle and Kirulapone. Accordingly , he first attended the May Day rally at Galle and showed his face to Maithree.  Therafter he  proceeded to Kirulapone and showed his face to Mahinda. He proved to be the typical srilankan politician.
