Price Increase in Bakery Products Except Bread

Prices of Bun and Fish Bun  have been increased by Rs 5 with immediate effect said,Bakery Owners Union Chairman N.K.Jeyawardena. Rupee’s  equivalent value of rupee has increased against dollar and palm oil price too has increased along with VAT.

Hence, they were compelled to increase prices of bakery products except bread.He appealed to the Government and Finance Minister to reconsider relief to bakery owners.
