R2I Bill Work Shop Today

The Right to Information draft bill was tabled by Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathileke in Parliament on the 24th of March.

The Supreme Court determined that the bill could be passed with amendments and special majority  in Parliament.

A programme to educate Parliamentarians over the Right to Information Bill is organized  in Colombo today(16).

All Parliamentarians have been invited to attend the event.

The programme will be under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
