Emergency Compensation For Victims Of Weather Disasters – Finance Ministry

The Finance Ministry yesterday(16) allocated emergency funds for compensation for victims of disasters related to weather.

Accordingly, a damaged house was to get a maximum compensation of Rs 2.5 million. The family of a person killed due to weather disasters is to receive Rs 100,000. If a fisherman loses his life, his family is to be paid compensation of Rs 1 million, the Ministry said.
