Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Hambantota via Colombo and Galle.

Showers or thunder showers may occur at a few places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.

Winds will be South-westerly and speed will be 40-50 kmph.

The sea area extending from Puttalam to Trincomalee via Mannar and Kankasanthurai and extending from Batticaloa to Hambantota via Pottuvil may be very rough at times as the wind speed can be suddenly increased up to 70-80 kmph. Other sea area around the island will be rough at times as the winds can strengthen up to 60kmph at times.
