Flood Aid Flight from Pakistan to Srilanka Reached BIA

A special flight from Pakistan arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport  yesterday (23). This special flight brought relief aid such as Water bottles, blankets, medicine, and other essential food, for victims of landslides and floods
Pakistan High Commission press release stated, that a 30-bed fully-equipped field hospital,which had operation theaters and x-ray laboratories were sent to Sri Lanka. Two special cargo aircraft, carrying relief items, were also expected to reach Colombo shortly.
The High Commission also stated that 17 Pakistani doctors would be arriving in Sri Lanka for providing health care assistance.
