A fire broke out in a hotel that is located in the vicinity of the Wellawatta Railway Station.
The police media sources stated that the investigations into the blaze started after a call was made to the police emergency hotline at about 5.37 this morning.
In the meantime, the Colombo Fire Brigade noted that four fire engines had been dispatched to douse the fire.
No casualties have been reported so far.
