Former ASP of Embilipitiya D.W.C. Dharmarathna, who was in remand in connection with the alleged murder of Sumith Prasanna , has been granted bail today (2).
Dharmarathna was ordered to be released after a bail application filed on behalf of him was taken up for hearing before the Embilipitiya High Court this morning (02), The suspect was released on a cash bail of Rs 20,000 and sureties of Rs 500,000 each.
