Joint Opposition Not in Favor The Government

United People’s Freedom Alliance, MP Vidura Wickramanayake has rejected charges that the Joint Opposition is acting in favor of the Government.

Commenting on the charge levelled by Bengamuwe Nalaka Thera, claiming the Joint Opposition is posing an insufficient threat to the government, MP Vidura Wickramanayake said shortcomings were reported during Mahinda Rajapaksa’s regime.

Further , he said the current administration cannot repeat the same mistakes.

MP Wickramanayake said the government cannot get away by hurling allegations at the Joint Opposition.

He said the Good Governance government cannot repeat the same mistakes during their tenure, claiming the public will ultimately be the judge.
