Provincial Council Women Representation of 30 %

The cabinet has yesterday decided to increase and ensure women representation by 30% in nomination list submitted by political parties and independent list  for  Provincial Council elections in future.

This cabinet decision need to be submitted to the parliament and passed  by simple majority before implementation. Once Parliament pass this proposal, it will be brought as a legislation to make it as an amendment act  to Provincial Council said Faizer Musthafa Minister of Provincial council local bodies.
