Final Rites of Somawansa Amarasinghe Today

Somawansa Amarasinghe passed away at the age of 73 on Wednesday at his Rajagiriya residence.

The funeral of former JVP leader Somawansa Amarasingha will be held today at 4.00 pm at the Boralla Cemetery.

The remains currently lie at his residence in Thalangama South, Battaramulla.

The funeral procession will leave the residence at 3pm and proceed towards Borella via the Parliament Road.
