A special meeting headed by Minister Rauff Hakeem and Deputy Provincial Health Minister Mohammed Kasim was held yesterday (20) without informing the Provincial Health Minister Bandula Yalegama.
Hence ,today ‘s Central Provincial Council meeting has been boycotted by the Councilors.
The Councilors representing both the Government and the Opposition had walked out of the session at around 10.30 a.m.
This has been informed to the Governor of the Central Province, Niluka Ekanayake, as well, it was reported.
