New era has dawned for state employees: Uva CM

Chief Minister (CM) of the Uva Province Harin Fernando says that an epoch has dawned where state employees can engage in their duties without being politically hindered.

He stated this during a discussion held between school principals of the Badulla district.

The meeting was held to discuss the issues in schools in the Badulla district. School equipment worth Rs. 197,000 was also handed over to the school.

Adding further, the CM stressed that with the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution recently, a historic change took place within the country.
