Schoolboy’s body found in Udawalawe area

A corpse of a Seventeen-year-old school boy has been discovered from the teak wood forest within the Udawalawe Reserve.

The body was found following investigations into a complaint lodged by the victim’s father upon the disappearance of the boy who had not returned home from tuition classes.

Police added that scratch marks were found on the body of the victim following initial investigations.
