Two men enter house and gang-rape woman unsuspecting woman

A woman has lodged a complaint with the Police stating that two men had entered her home gang-raped her and had stolen nearly 20,000 rupees. The victim is a resident of the Na-ula-Usaththawa area.

Her statement claims that two men had entered their house and tried to abduct her daughter but her husband had intervened and tried to protect their daughter. The two men had then gang-raped her.

Acting immediately the Na-ula Police were able to apprehend one suspect. He was brought before the Laggala Court on Friday (12). He is accused of Rape, Theft and forced entry.

The Laggala Police have set up a special unit to apprehend the other suspect.

The culprits are said to be 35 and the other a 45 year old father of three.
