Several Factions Using VAT Issue to Disrupt the Government – Sagala Ratnayake

Minister of Law and  Order and Southern Development, Sagala Ratnayake has alleged that several factions were trying to disrupt the government’s forward march by creating various opinions on the value added tax(VAT).

The Minister reiterated that the President and Prime Minister were currently discussing the future action plan with respect to VAT.  He made these comments at an event held in Rajagiriya yesterday.
