Four Arrested While Attempting to Smuggle Heroin to Sri Lanka

 

Four persons, including three Sri Lankan nationals, allegedly attempting to smuggle heroin weighing 2 kgs to Sri Lanka, at  Ramanathapuram Railway station was arrested today

police said.  The Srilankans involved are Yogeswaran (50), Mohammed Kansoor (45) and Mohammed Niroz (55) from Sri Lanka. Fourth person is  Kannan (29) of Ramanthapuram.

The arrested are being interrogated by officials of Narcotics Intelligence Bureau.
