Instead of issuing statements indirectly blaming political revenge in Namal’s arrest, Mahinda should have gone to the courts and challenged it , as in the case of VAT Wimal Weerawansa went to court, challenged it and became victorious. If Namal is innocent Mahinda should have obtained relief from the court, said Wickremabahu Karunaratne in a press conference called at the Nava Sama Samaja Party office yesterday.
