Eastern Chief Minister Hafiz Nazeer Ahamed Insisted land and Police Powers to Provincial Councils

Visiting US Assistant Secretary of State and her delegation called at the Chief Minister at his office in Trincomale yesterday (14). During the talk with the US Asst.State  Secretary, Nisha Bishwa, Chief Minister has stressed and insisted that the powers vested in 13^th Amendment of the Srilanka Constitution  should be fully implemented without diluting it , plus land and police powers be given. Apart from this, delegate financial powers too to develop Provinces, he told the visiting US Assistant Secretary of State, Nisha Bishwa.
