A committee comprising of six members has been chosen to coordinate between President Maithripala Sirisena and Ex-President Mahinda Rajapaksa, with regard to the future affairs of the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) including its main coalition partner – SLFP.
The committee was appointed this morning during a meeting held to discuss the existing political situation in the country and the future political course of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) patronized by President Maithripala Sirisena, who is also the SLFP’s leader.
