Three Wheeler Fare Hike By Rs 5 Per Km

President of the Lanka Self-Employed Persons’ Association Sunil Jayawardena said yesterday, the increase in bus fares by private passenger transport operators effective 1 August will be followed by a hike of Rs 5 per kilometre by threewheeler taxis too very shortly.

Secretary to the Ministry of Transport Nihal Somaweera said members of that Association are free to make their own decisions.
