Traffic Congestion at Flower Road Due to Protest

Heavy traffic congestion has been reported along Flower Road in Colombo due to a protest being staged by teachers.  The protest march has been organised by the Ceylon Teachers’ Union  against the non-placement of graded principals and is heading towards the Prime Minister’s Office in Colombo.  Representatives of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union are expected to hold talks at the Prime Minister’s Office.
