Somawansa Amarasinghe to re-enter the Political Arena with a new Front
The first meeting of Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) former leader Somawansa Amarasinghe is scheduled for the 27th of June at the New Town Hall. Sources indicate that a few prominent JVP members will participate in at this meeting.
The Ex-JVP leader stated that the name will be decided upon at the meeting and the propaganda of the Party will be publicized soon after.
He also stated that certain groups who have been working closely with him after he left the JVP will also play a significant role in his new political Party.
