Public Services Nurses Union Action on Hold

The Public Services United Nurses Union has planned trade union action for today and tomorrow demanding increase in salaries, additional benefits and other demands.

Chairman of the Union venerable Muruththettuwe Ananda Thera said union action was postponed on the promise given  the Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratne for a discussion on 8^th August 2016.

Ananda Thera added the future course of action will be decided based on the outcome of the discussion.
