COPE Summons Top Central Bank Officials Again

On several earlier occasions, top Central Bank  officials have been summoned by COPE and questioned. As there were more details relating to the bond transaction that have to be resolved, the heads of the Central Bank need to be summoned before COPE on 12 th August 2016 once again, said Chairman of COPE, MP Sunil Handunnetti.

Further he said that,  A special report on the bond transaction is expected to be presented to Parliament after the investigations are completed.
