Mahind’s Call to Register Protest Against VAT
VAT legislation is scheduled to be taken up for debate in Parliament on 11th August 2016. Mahinda has issued a statement calling all Parliamentarians to register their protest against this VAT legislation.
In his statement, he mentioned that the economy has fallen after the change of Government. Economic as well as trade activities have been badly affected. Hence, all Parliamentarians should get together and defeat VAT legislation.
