Son Demands Ransom from Father……

Gampaha police arrested a 17 year old youth, who abducted his own sister and demanded five lakhs from his father to release her. Father has refused to pay ransom when he received the telephone call demanding money of 5 lakhs. Father made a complaint with Gampaha Police. As he failed to get the money from father, he released his sister. In the meantime, police searching for the missing girl has come across her and inquired about what happened?   She disclosed what happened. Followed by this police has arrested the youth. In the investigation the youth said, he wanted to start some project for which he asked money from his father, who refused to pay. That was the reason for staging this drama, he admitted.
