Don’t Incite Buddhist – President

In his special interview with the TV station on 13th August 2016, President Maithreepala Siresena said,  that we passed the legislation to establish an office for missing persons after  discussing  it with the major two parties and several  amendments after discussion.
When we took this legislation in  Parliament,  I have seen some  people sat down in front of Parliament on the ground and shouted slogans. They have no start, no centre and no end for them. I invite them to come and debate with,  us if  there is any issue.
Don’t incite and mislead Sinhala Buddhist in this country. Don’t go and misrepresent facts about this legislation. We all love this country alike . After the 19th amendment of the Srilanka constitution, international community has come forward to assist us. We should make use of  this opportunity at this juncture, concluded President.
