Yet another Jellyfish ‘invasion’ at Polhena beach

 

Matara Police Lifeguard Unit has directed people planning to visit Polhena Beach to refrain from visiting the area until further notice due to an increase in jellyfish sightings.

Four people have already come into contact with a poisonous variety of jelly fish floating in the water and have been hospitalized. It has also been reported that the number of people visiting the beach had decreased today.
