Maithree is Infested with Mahinda’s Disease

While addressing a meeting in Matara Chairman of the COPE cum JVP MP, Sunil Handunnetti said, that Mahinda Rajapakshe threatened politicians, who had not fallen in line with him, that he would disclose their secrets during his tenure. Hence, Politicians kept their mouth shut.

Similarly, Maithreepala Sirisena too has infested with the same disease. He too indirectly threatens Joint Opposition members from forming a new party. In a recent meeting he said that there is a move by section of the SLFP members to form a new party under new leadership. He said, if a new party is formed, he would disclose top level secrets of the SLFP members, so that they won’t be able to walk on the street.

Sunil Handunnetti raised the question if Mahinda faction does not form a new party, would all these top secrets be kept without disclosing to the public?

In the meantime, Joint Opposition MP Prasanna Ranatunga questioned the President as to why he has not disclosed these top secrets up to now to the public?

Further, he said like robbing aiding and abetting or with holding facts or hiding evidence is an offence under the Penal Code.
