New Political Party in the Forming – Prasanna

Joint Opposition MP Prasanna Ranatunga accused President Maithripala Sirisena of having conspired to obtain leadership of the SLFP, and also that he was now fulfilling a contract by the UNP. People who want an alternative party should be listened to, as the JVP is now supporting the government, and certain SLFP MPs have accepted ministerial positions. Therefore, the need has arisen to form a new political force, for which arrangements are being made now.
