Tax Concession Granted by Ravi Challenged in Appeal Court

A Buddhist monk has petitioned in the Appeal Court that  the Minister Finance Ravi Karunanayake has granted tax concession amounting 6 billion rupees to a company that was involved in providing flood relief to the displaced community.
In this petition , thirteen individuals including Minister Ravi Karunanayake and the Customs Director General have been named as Respondents in the petition.
Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake is summoned  to appear before the Court of Appeal today(12) .
