Colombo-Badulla railwy route back to normalcy

 

The functioning of the Colombo-Badulla railway route came to a standstill on the night of Saturday, June 20.

The Railway Control Room stated this was as a result of a train derailing near the Rosella and Hatton railway station area.

Officials were able to get the train back on track and railway services resumed as usual on Sunday morning, sources stated.
