Army Lieutenant Colonel Arrested

A Sri Lanka Army Lieutenant Colonel was arrested today by Athurugiriya Police in connection of the shooting of his wife on Saturday night.

The 45-year-old mother of three was shot through a window of the house at Isurupura, Malabe. She was admitted to Colombo National Hospital where she underwent surgery. The shooting took place at around 10.15 p.m. on Saturday.

Further investigation carried out.
