Gota, Nissanka & Six Others Ordered to Appear in Court on 30th September

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has ordered  this morning that  former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, former Chairman of Avant Garde Nissanka Senadhipathi and six others to appear before Court on September 30 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya.

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption filed action against the eight yesterday, alleging they enabled the company Avant Garde (Pvt) Ltd. To make unlawful profit amounting to Rs. 11. 4 billion, by maintaining a floating armoury.
