A Department Spends 8 Million to Celebrate It’s Minister’s Birthday?

Wasantha Samarasinghe, Convener of voice against Corruption said, that one of the powerful Minister said to have allocated 8 million rupees to a department coming under his purview to celebrate his birthday. Concerned Departmental head said to be a close friend of the Minister. Further he said, that several Departmental employees are being deployed at his private home.

Wasantha Samarasinghe said, that most of this Minister’s misdeeds including wasting of public funds will be exposed to the public soon.
