5 Sri Lankans & A Indian Arrested with 2.24 Kg of Heroin in Mannar

Five Sri Lankans and an Indian were arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy with 2.24 Kg of heroin, valued at Rs. 30 million, in Mannar yesterday evening(3).   The stock of heroin is believed to be smuggled from Pallimunai, India.

Further investigation carried out  by Vavuniya Police Narcotics Bureau.
