JO Raises Its Head From Grass Root Level by Forming First Electoral Bala Mandalaya

Dallas Alahapperuma is spearheading in formation of Electoral  Bala Mandalaya, The ‘Joint Opposition’ in defiance of the SLFP, launched the first electoral Bala Mandalaya in the Hakmana Electorate, Matara District.

Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Mahindananda Aluthgamage and UPFA MP Niroshan Premaratne also took part in the event.

The meeting of the Pasgoda regional Balamandalaya in Hakmana Electorate was held at Urubokka Cooperate Hall.

Speaking at the meeting, Alahapperuma said that the present SLFP leadership is attempting to mortgaging  power to the UNP. The SLFP leadership must understand the objective of the ‘Joint Opposition’ he added.

The decision by the SLFP to support the government is not good for the country, he added.
