Colombo high court judge Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne yesterday (05) issued notice on Udaya Gammanpila and Sydney Jayaratne to appear before courts on 1st November 2016 in connection with a financial fraud.
The four indictments against the duo are over the faking of signatures of two foreigners, preparing a bogus attorney license and selling Rs. 21 million stock shares owned by them.
Over the same charges, Colombo high high court judge Padmini Ranawaka has ordered Gammanpila to appear before courts on 3rd November 2016 . The attorney general has filed the charges separately.
