Abhishek Bachchan Warns Friend to Keep Hands off Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the face that, exactly like Helen of Troy, can launch a thousand ships. And after watching her in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, we are in love all over again.

Apparently, we are not the only ones. In fact, Preity Zinta — who has partnered with Aishwarya’s husband Abhishek Bachchan in many films — sent an interesting message to him. She wrote, “Hey @juniorbachchan Happy Ganesh Chaturthi I’m watching the #Aedilhaimushkil promo in a loop & I think I have a girl crush on Ash #bachaao.”

The witty Abhishek, never at a loss for words, was quick to reply. “@realpreityzinta Oye!!! Hands off Z! She’s spoken for,” he wrote back. Now, that is one cute exchange of tweets.

Abhishek and Preity have done hit films such as Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

Aishwarya will be seen in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil this Diwali. According to Karan, she plays a poet in the film who knows that she is not very good at what she does. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is being touted as a love triangle and also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. The film marks Karan’s return to direction after almost four years.

The film will go head-to-head with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay at the box office. There was a controversy recently when Ajay had alleged that Karan had paid Rs 25 lakh to “self-proclaimed film critic” Kamaal R Khan to promote Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
