4 Arrested Over Abduction of 4 year old Boy at Puttalam

 Puttalam Police have arrested four individuals, including two women, in connection to the kidnapping incident of a 4-year old boy in Puttalam yesterday.

The boy had gone missing at around 11am last morning while playing outside his home.

The Police who had commenced investigations into the incident were able to apprehend the suspects who were transporting the child in a three wheeler.

Police said an Indian national was also among those arrested.

Initial investigations have revealed that the kidnapped child was kept hidden in the Wanathawilluwa area.

While the reason for the kidnapping is yet to be ascertained, further investigations into the incident are being carried out by the Puttalam Police.
